What does Shaking Head mean as a trend? Other names

Updated:

Short answer

The name describes the move. The head sways side to side with the eyes shut, as if pleased with itself, then the eyes snap open and the tongue comes out. It is not about shaking in anger or saying no. People search it as Cat Shaking Head, Cow Shaking Head, Smug Head Shake or Shaking Head AI.

Example frame: a fluffy white Samoyed on a beige sofa with its eyes wide open and its tongue sticking out at the camera

What it means

It is a smug, silly flex: the more pleased the face looks while it sways, the better the sudden stare lands. The caption on top gives the target of the joke. This is an internet meme, and MimicZip has no link to the accounts that posted it.

Questions people ask

Is it the same as the fast head shake meme?

No. That one is a quick shake of the head. This one is a slow, smug sway followed by a stare.

Why a cat or a calf?

The calf post started the wave, and the cat version made it huge. Any face with a clear snout or mouth works.
